Core Values & Beliefs
We respect the individual and believe that individuals who are treated with respect and given responsibility respond by giving their best.
We make principled decisions. We make recommendations and commitments with care, and then live up to them. We do what we say we will do and tell our clients what they need to hear—good and bad.
We are open to new ideas and are always ready to recognize and adapt to new opportunities for our clients. Innovation is encouraged and welcomed.
We are responsive. We react with urgency and sensitivity to the important concerns of our clients.
We are client-focussed.
We value hard work and strive to provide the best possible service to our clients.
We are frugal. We strive to conserve and care for our clients' resources with at least the same care as we guard our company's financial affairs and our own personal resources.
We see ourselves as partners in supporting our clients' missions to better the social, cultural, recreational, healthcare, educational, and spiritual services and opportunities for all Canadians.
We at The Goldie Company consider ourselves an extended family. As a caring and responsible company, we are active participants in our communities. This is reflected in our individual and corporate philanthropic and volunteer commitments.
Beyond our work with clients, we strive to improve the environment for philanthropy in Canada through the example of our ethical practice and our support of, and participation in, the continuing development of the fundraising profession in Canada.
The Goldie Company adheres to the Standards of Professional Ethics, which prohibits percentage-based compensation or commission. We charge a set fee for fundraising service that is mutually agreed upon before the commencement of the project. Our fees vary according to the scope of the project, allowing flexibility without compromising quality.
