Most of our clients come to us on the recommendation of others…
Lakehead Alliance, 2007
On behalf of the Lakeland Alliance I would like to thank you for the level of detail and for the time and effort that you put into our strategic fundraising plan. I know that the steering committee was happy with the final product and we look forward to following the directions you have set out for us. I know that you will be there for us as a resource when the rubber hits the road so, I look forward to keeping in touch with you as we make our way. Once again, thank you for your hard work and for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us.

“The board recently received the final report from The Goldie Company, our fundraising consultants. The Strategic Fundraising Planning Study included more than 40 interviews with industry and community leaders to assess the interest and potential support base for the Museum. We were pleased to learn that there is great interest in the development of our aerospace museum in the Toronto area and there is donor base we can tap.
The consultants have also provided us with a proven outreach strategy we can implement to launch a major fundraising initiative. The recommendations of the consultant’s study will be acted upon as soon as a volunteer team can be organized.”

“Thank you for your interim report to the Cambridge YMCA on the results of our Campaign Planning Study. Although your recommendation that we halt the Study and save ourselves the balance of your fee was not what we hoped to hear, it was the correct recommendation. Clearly we could have continued with our stated approach however, the results gathered to date clearly indicated that, at this time, there was insufficient community support.
The Goldie Company is to be commended for putting the clients’ interests ahead of their own and for advising the customer with integrity and supportable facts.
Should we have the occasion to need fundraising counsel sometime in the future I would have no hesitation in recommending The Goldie Company for the assignment.”

“A thousand thanks for your letter. It is I, rather than you, who should be thanking you for your interest and help which never flagged once, all along the fifteen-year-old road we have travelled together”

“I am writing to extend my personal invitation for you to attend a reception honouring our major donors and volunteers to the Drive for Excellence fundraising campaign. I have enclosed a formal invitation.
At the third anniversary of the five-year campaign, we raised $42,129,182 – surpassing our $42 million goal with contributions entirely from private sources. The reception is an opportunity for us to present the good news about the campaign to date, and to put forth our plans for the future. As a major contributor to the success of the campaign, I am sure you will find the report as exhilarating as we do.
I look forward to seeing you there”
