The Goldie Company would like to congratulate James Bacon on his new position as the Fund Development Manager / Capital Campaign Manager for the Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WIDHH)!
WIDHH is an organization from British Columbia that works to “create a society in which people who are Deaf, Deafened, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing (collectively referred to as “Deaf and Hard of Hearing”) are able to fully participate”. WIDHH’s services include providing information and education, a hearing aid clinic, counselling services, sign language interpreting services, and a communication devices showroom for clients to test assistive communication devices.
James is a CFRE candidate and will be an excellent addition to the WIDHH team. A new resident of Vancouver, James started his career in the UK. He is passionate about the non-profit sector and brings with him a wealth of knowledge; and fundraising and marketing experience. James’ enthusiasm, creative approach to problem solving, and insightful communication style will be an asset to WIDHH. Susan Masters, Executive Director for WIDHH notes that James, “brings a wealth of successful fundraising experience,” to the organization.
In his new role, James will use his skills and knowledge to plan and develop WIDHH’s short and long term fundraising programs, to ensure that WIDHH can continue to provide invaluable services to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in British Columbia.
