The Goldie Company

Parley: March 2017 - Welcome to the team Lois Graveline

The Goldie Company is proud to announce the addition of another Senior Consultant to the team.  We are welcoming Ottawa based Lois Graveline who, as an accomplished Certified Fundraising Executive, is ‘excited to grow the business here in Ottawa.’ She comes to The Goldie Company with twenty-four years’ experience working in the non-profit sector, including nine as an owner and strategic consultant of her own firm.

Lois has led the development of strong and sustainable fundraising programs for organizations such as the Canadian Hunger Foundation, CARE Canada, USC Canada, Parkinson’s Society, and more recently, as the Regional Executive Director of Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Her well-honed skills include strategic planning and implementation, relationship and capacity building, volunteer and community engagement as well as major gift and planed giving solicitations and board engagement and governance issues.

Lois is deeply passionate about the charitable sector in Canada and her mission and values are congruous with those of The Goldie Company. Beyond her work, Lois strives to create a better world and improve the environment for philanthropy in Canada through her support of, and participation with, AFP Ottawa - as a member since 2002 - where she served as Co-Chair of Fundraising Day and as the Chair of the Mentorship Program.  She currently serves on the board of Cancer Computer.  Lois has an appreciation of the value people give to the non-profit sector, and has been known to selflessly volunteer her family and friends to support whatever charitable initiative she is involved in. Good job Lois!

Our work is only possible through the coordination and dedication of our strategic consultants, directors and experts in the non-profit industry.  Lois’s ability to assess what works - as well as what is missing - from any non-profit’s suite of fund development programs is nothing short of impressive.  She is driven by results and has an acute appreciation for what it takes to bring people together to achieve a common goal.

We look forward to working with you. Welcome to the team Lois!
