The Goldie Company is proud to announce the addition of another Senior Consultant to the team. We welcome Michelle Harder and her more than 20 years experience in fundraising and non-profit development.
Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts with honours in Psychology from Brock University followed by a Master of Arts degree in Philanthropy & Development from Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota.
Working alongside Ben Harder at Harder and Associates for 15 plus years, Michelle has proven knowledge and experience in successful faith-based fundraising. Specializing in capital campaigns with churches of various denominations, Michelle is sensitive to the culture of faith-based fundraising and has always upheld the highest ethical standards of her profession.
She is driven by a passion to help organizations large and small achieve their fundraising and strategic goals. Michelle has played a significant role in the non-profit sector with organizations such as Brock University, the Canadian Cancer Society and most recently as the Director of Development for the Lincoln County Humane Society.
Michelle is active in her local community, volunteering at her two sons' minor hockey association as a board member, coach and team trainer. An avid athlete herself, she participates in triathlons and local charity fun runs. In addition to her passion for sport, Michelle also works with an international dog rescue from St. Lucia as a foster pup parent.
Our work is only possible through the coordination and dedication of our strategic consultants, directors and experts in the non-profit industry. Michelle has the capability to hit the ground running in any fundraising project, facilitate the identification and implementation of actionable strategies for both maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Everyone at The Goldie Company is excited and eager to work with Michelle. Welcome to the team!
