Daniel G. Clapin, ACFRE – Senior Consultant
The Goldie Company is pleased to announce our newest staff member, Dan Clapin, Senior Consultant, and welcome him aboard The Goldie Company team!
Dan began his career as a Volunteer School Teacher in Nigeria, CUSO 1978 – 1980, followed by several years working in the NGO sector for developing countries. This was followed by five years as Development Coordinator for the Multiple Sclerosis Society; seven years as Development Coordinator Individual and Planned Giving for the Foundation of the Ottawa General Hospital; fourteen years as Director of Alumni and Development with Saint Paul University; and recently retired from his nine years as Executive Director for The Perley and Rideau Veterans` Health Centre Foundation. Throughout his career he has been and remains involved as a Volunteer on local, provincial and National Fundraising Boards of Directors.
Dan is a seasoned, bilingual professional Fundraiser with more than thirty years of experience in all aspects of Fundraising, donor cultivation and volunteer management. He is a generalist, with a particular understanding and expertise in Planned Giving and Major Gifts.

Dan is married to wife Réjeanne, and has two sons François and Olivier. His hobbies include distance running, fishing and reading.
